What Proxifier does

The short version: it makes any program on your computer talk to the internet through a proxy — no matter whether that program supports proxies itself.

Proxifier sits between your applications and the network. You define proxy servers and a set of rules, and Proxifier redirects the matching connections through them. That's genuinely useful: you can route a single app, keep others direct, tunnel traffic through a chain of proxies, and send DNS lookups through the proxy so they don't leak.
