Evomi. Buying and using Evomi proxies can require an additional KYC check after the purchase.
1. What this covers
This page describes the checks on customers who buy proxy bandwidth that ProxyTool resells. It sits alongside our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
Using the ProxyTool app with a proxy the customer already has is outside this page. These checks apply when the customer buys bandwidth from us.
ProxyTool is established in Germany. The operator details are in our Imprint.
2. Reselling
ProxyTool resells proxy bandwidth supplied by upstream networks. Before that bandwidth can be sold, the supplying network runs its own know-your-customer check on ProxyTool. We complete that check as the reseller.
ProxyTool stays responsible for the customers who then buy that bandwidth. The checks on those customers are the three below.
Evomi proxies are part of this resale. After the purchase, Evomi may require a further know-your-customer check before or while the customer uses them.
3. Checks on our customers
A customer who buys resold proxy bandwidth needs a verified email, a successful payment on that same account, and a fraud check. That is the full set.
Email
The account is opened with an email address. We send a confirmation to that address, and the account is not treated as verified until the customer completes it. Billing and fraud notices go to that address.
Payment
Bandwidth is paid through our payment provider, Stripe. The payment has to succeed, and it stays on the same account as the verified email. We do not sell this bandwidth against an anonymous payment. A failed payment, dispute or chargeback stays on that account.
Fraud
The payment provider screens the charge. Disputes, early fraud warnings, and use of the bandwidth that breaks the Terms of Service count as fraud on that account. We can stop further bandwidth purchases and close the account.
4. What we may do
- Refuse a bandwidth purchase that does not pass these checks
- Stop further purchases on an account after a fraud signal
- Close an account that fails the fraud check or misuses the bandwidth
Closing an account follows the termination rules in the Terms of Service. The Refund Policy explains when a refund is not available in that case.
5. Questions
Questions about these checks can be sent to support@proxytool.app. Please write from the email address on the account.
In short. For resold proxy bandwidth, a ProxyTool customer is checked with a verified email, a successful payment on that account, and a fraud check. Evomi proxies can require a further KYC check after the purchase.
